4. draw in the asymptotes and sketch the graph of y=cot x

5. show graphically that cox x = x/4 has 3 solutions

6. solve the equation sin2x = x/2

7. differentiate e^sin x

8. differentiate sin^3x

Same as y = sin(3x/2)

2. sketch the graph of y=4cos x + 3 sin x

Draw 4cos x and 3sin x separately then add them together.

3. for what values of x is cot x not defined

cot x = 1/tan x and is not defined at kpi +- pi/2 where k is any integer.

4. draw in the asymptotes and sketch the graph of y=cot x

As above

5. show graphically that cox x = x/4 has 3 solutions

Draw it?

6. solve the equation sin2x = x/2

I think you're meant to do this graphically.

Obvious solution is x = 0 though

7. differentiate e^sin x

cosx.e^sinx

8. differentiate sin^3x
