anyone know anythin about harvey normans credit note? (1 Viewer)

well i brought this laptop for 1600 and the guys there said if theres anything wrong with it.. the warranty allows me to choose any other laptop with a credit of around 1400 to be used in that store..

is this what they call the "credit note"? what does it entitle me to? so if i screwed up my current laptop with 30 viruses and a broken fan ... i can get a replacement straight away?

that sounds too good to be true though..

sum things arent covered under what? warranty?
say i have 30 viruses hiding inside it.. the warranty doesnt cover this but if i hand it in to harvey norman, they probably wont find it and still give me credit note..
