Yellow was a complete waste of money. Pickachu was such a shit pokemon come on the first gym boss used rock pokemon. I traded that yellow waste of space at the first chance I got.

You had to double team up, use potions and then quick attack onix to death.

Or get a mankey and use the first fighting move it learnt.

um back to the yellow version discussion, i either got a nidoran lvl'ed up with double kick, or a butterfree with confusion, to take on brock.

quite easy if u have the patience to raise a lvl 3 pokemon (which i dont have, but somehow did it)
