we did skinfold tests at uni.
using those calipers that pinch if you use them wrong.
this was 2 years ago now though.
we shoved the numbers into several formulas to see the difference.
those calipers must really hurt ...
Also i hear it's only an approximate measurement of your body fat percentage.

so what was it if you don't mind me asking? ;)

i got the thing with the calipers done by a professional and it was 15% but then i went on those fat measuring scales and it said 20%. i'm assuming the latter was right.

the scales are wrong most of the time, calipers are a much more accurate method.

I used one of those online converters where you punch in your weight and height and it tells your BMI and body fat percentage. I'm 180cm tall and 70kg and I got 17% body fat, however I don't believe it takes mucle into account (as mine should hopefully be a fair bit lower).

You just had to put your height and weight.....? tooo inaccurate, find a website that includes height, weight, measurement of your neck, chest & torso.

17% is normal for males. lower than that gets into elite runners etc, unless you're an elite sportsperson, i'd be happy with that.

5% is basically impossible. just putting it out there.
very true :) callipers aren't entirely accurate..most likely would have been higher :)

the human body needs to have fat, essential fat we call it :)

8% is ripped!

My friends tell me i have hardly any fat on my body, but i can see some on my legs :spzz::spzz:
