I'm seeking a part time/Casual job at Officeworks, and from what i've heard, any vacancies are usually given to friends of staff members, can anyone verify this claim?

lol not necessarily! I know i was employed through a friend but, there were others with me who didnt know anyone there. Just personally go into the store, hand your resume to the duty manager of the store or any manager if duty manager isnt there and make sure you let them know you have previous experience with cash handling and transactions or whatever, if u do! Any time they can save on training people is a plus
