Well I do both.

Personally, both can be a bore in year 11.

But because I have a retarted teacher for legal and an awesome teacher for business, hence im siding with business.

As for content wise. Again, i side with business, because it's less complicated in the sense that you don't need to remember every single year of every single case law.

Hope that helped :)

It depends on your workload darl! Im a teacher of both subject areas and the Business Studies component is very economic based. Exam wise you have to look at the fact that Legal has two 25 mark essays that you have to write. In Business Studies its only one and its worth 20 marks.

Go with what you'd be interested in. Law vs Business/ Economy !
Good luck with your choice.

Is it a good idea to choose both economics and business studies together?

Depends what kind of student you are. I do both so i can tell you that business is all memory and regurgitation of information while legal is more analytical and based on the evaluate questions.
Personally i prefer legal because i want to do it as a profession.

personally i'd say no. some may differ, but you want to have a variety of subjects not just a focus on one area, as it comes round to studying, you will find it very draining to study hours for business, and do it again for economics. bring a bit of colour to life and your subject choices

and legal ftw.:)
