bring ur angry azn/curry parents along with u. they can always solve these issues in an instant (maybe not peacefully). if ur none of the above, grab some random azn/curry off the street and say u're adopted.

Screwed, big time. No idea, head teacher English came down, she seemed quite nice about it, told him to go wait outside the office. No idea what happened beyond that. Was pretty distracting for everyone though, cause the examiner caught him, and she was yelling out: "show me the notes" etc, until he reluctantly gave them to her, then she yelled "YOU'RE GONE!". Everyone was looking up instead of writing....
this person did the notes in blazer pocket trick, which i know he's pulled off a hundred times before. he was just unlucky to get caught this time.

he got zero for the section he cheated on.

I would say either be honest about it, or just say that you did it in the exam.
They can't prove that you didn't.

Personally I would go with the first option, but yeah.

Haha, wow.
Blazer trick?
That's so stupid and risky.

I witnessed and considered emulating the "perfect" plan to cheat once, but in the process of doing so, I just ended up revising better. I never went through with it of course, I'm a good boy. ^_^

Unlucky? I thought it was wrong to cheat. Shouldn't it be "lucky" that he got caught so that he didn't get higher marks than you? Or does everyone bloody cheat?

My question is, how can you not remember Anti Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW)? It's so elementary (maybe this is because I do legal). Anyway - too harsh, explain your case, write to the BOS etc. - you will be fine.

Since when were'nt you allowed to write a few words on your hand?

I mean, its quite similar to memorise/regurgitate, its just that its easier.

In both methods, the knowledge was never really YOURS, you were just "borrowing" it
nah, if i can write a few words on the back of my hand, i can remember a whole essay without having to think about it. thats because i always forget the first word of my paragraph, and thats disrupts the flow nearly always, so i usually end up writing something totally different to my "prepared essay".

Yeah that's quite easy to remember and i agree on explaining your case without getting aggressive.

i think there are quite a few people who cheat gratuitously - well i assume so anyway. if people want to take that risk, i don't care. i'll most likely get better marks than them anyway (i hope :S).

By saying you don't care do you mean that even though you know he is cheating, you will let him go by?

Yeah, you'd honestly dob someone in if you saw them cheating? If someone doesn't get caught cheating, that's the end of that, I wouldn't dob them in.

You're happy to have someone beat you in a test, not through wit, but by being able to cheat their way through life?

well, i refuse to dob on a friend. if they were some random however, i might.
i'm much more annoyed however when i prepare meticulously for an exam, and someone manages to beat me by cramming the night before.

and stop hiding behind that cloak of anonymity.

Ah, so life is just a popularity contest?

As for my cloak, my father James gave it to me. What interest is it to you?

Anyway, I digress. Cheating is wrong boys and girls. Don't do it.

did i say it was?
i'm not intensely competitive to the point that i would debase a friend over the one or two marks extra they may receive in a high school test. i don't believe these people would have the propensity to carry this trait throughout university - or their lives, anyway.
actually tbh, it's really just apathy. if you know me already i'm not fantastic at academics at all, so i don't see the point in dragging others down when it is of no benefit to myself.

yes it is wrong, thanks for making that obvious High Pride.

oh and i'm just interested to see who would be on the other side of that screen, that's all.

I'd like to see someone who cheats now, cheat throughout uni, and through life.....To say nothing of the fact that they may answer to a higher power sometime later in life.

I'm pretty sure that johony and I agree with you cheating is wrong. But your holier-than-thou attitude is hardly warranted. Tell me you've never looked at someone's multiple choice during one of those Science process test. Tell me you've never nudged someone in one of those class Maths tests back in Yr 7-10. Tell me you've never copied anyone in one of those competitions that noone in our grade takes seriously. Tell me you've never talked in one of our Trial exams, when our exams were on the table. Yup, that's right. By definition that's cheating.
