Nah, I didn't get the email [one of my friends FWD it to me]. I guess it means we have to sit the exam beforehand.

Well, to be honest, it was quite a hard paper....but would I want to do it again? If others cheated, no choice, right?

i heard you were trying to track them down, how?

this was accessed via computer>network etc, which might make it trackable - but this is some seriously hollywood shit in our usually boring schooling lives.

What the fuck? I haven't tried tracking down anyone....why does everyone assume that I'll get to the bottom of this? :p I haven't the foggiest idea, I'm about as clueless as the guy next to me. :p

Yeah, was a fairly hard test, imo.

whos the dumbest kid in sydney boys? most likely your culprit
Dumbest kid wouldn't be able to:
- Get the test paper in the first place - this is the first time a SBHS paper has ever been leaked.
- Wouldn't be smart enough to make an account under 'hushmail.com'
- Wouldn't be smart enough to know '2 typ lyk dis in order 2 dizskys his distink typing'
- Wouldn't be smart enough to send the email to a variety of kids, from all different groups in the grade, in order to disguise who he really is. There really is noone that 'hangs out' with every single one of the people in the email.

BUT the dumbest kid would send the paper to everyone, risking the chance of a re-trial, and hence destroying his chance at getting close to 100% :p

In hindsight, why did people actually download the file and open it? Zip files could have all kinds of viruses, no?

Can someone help me with this...

In my history extension project i came first with 35/40, and the girls behind me got 33 and 31. It was weighted 80%... If they beat me in the trial (which is weighted 20%) by the amount I am ahead by (2 marks and 4 marks) does that mean I will lose my rank...Like taking into account the weighting of both tasks?

Sorry if this made no sense! :)

The person received 33 you would have a overall 20% advantage over her and the one behind her you would have 30% more of an advantage. This means u can get 75% an she cn get 85 and you will still be better of then either.
