Re: Course for Uni

My prefs (but the order keeps changing):

1. BAcc - UTS
2. BEco - UNSW (This is the course I'm most keen on, tho I'll probs wait to see if I'm offered BAcc after UAI's come out before I change order)
3. BBus - UTS
4. BEco/BAppFin - Macquarie
5. BEco - Macquarie
6. BCom - Macquarie
7. BEco - ANU
8. BEco/BFinance - ANU
9. BEco - UWS

Finger crossed I go well enough to get offers for the one's closer to the top :)

Re: Course for Uni

Haha I only have two preferences I actually care about.

1. B Engineering/B Science (Computer Science) @ UNSW
OR
B Science (Computer Science)/B Science @ UNSW
Undecided yet, but they're in the same course code so I'll have plenty of time to think about which one I'll do. @ Uncle: Either way I'll be an engineer or a scientist, or both :haha:

2. B Science (Computer Science) @ UNSW

So glad I chose 4U Maths and Physics :)

Re: Which course do you want to do?

i dont know what else im going to apply for but my first preference is going to be bachelor of social work/bachelor of arts at UNSW followed by bachelor of social wok/bachelor of arts at USYD.

that order may swap but either way these are my first 2 preferences :)

im aiming for minimum 78 to get into my course. over 80 would be nicer. over 85 would be superb. over 90 is a bit beyond my reach i think.

Re: Course for Uni

I chose science and engineering courses but my mum told me too look at business courses o.0 What can I do with my subjects besides engineering and sciences?
why don't you do a combined degree

that way you can enter into both worlds :)

do you like kids/helping others/developing people and are you good @ at it? Or does your passion lie in the fashion industry?

in terms of salary, being a primary teacher there is a much reduced chance of earning a significant salary. i'm not sure about salary in the fashion industry but im pretty sure there is a greater chance of you being able to earn more in the fashion industry as primary teacher's pretty much have a set salary.

but the most important part would be which one would u enjoy more? both are probably ok in terms of availabilty of employment. so maybe you should talk to your career advisor for more info/look @ prospective uni's and what courses they offer.
