assessment mark vs ranking ??? (1 Viewer)

Hello

my school is ranked 460 last year

these are my final assessment marks (assessments+trails) vs my ranking in class

M2U: 80% - 1st
M3U: 50% - 1st
IPT: 82% -1st

I know these are pretty awful marks for someone who's coming first but my question is; if i improve my marks in the actual HSC test (85+), how much would that help me?
does ranking in class matters for me or not ?

for example if i get 81% in M3U, what will be my estimated aligned mark ??

I'm aiming for 73+ ATAR

The ranking matters a helluva a lot.

Seeing as you are coming first, if you get the highest HSC mark you'll end up with that mark. So if you improve your mark for the HSC exam you'll get a much better final mark.

If you get 81% in 3U, you'd get a mid E4.
