Bach. of Biomedical Science at Newcastle Uni, or medicine if i get a high enough ATAR. The lowest UAI score last year for medicine at newcastle was only 93.8.

So, 94+ ATAR would be amazing.

I once thought that I would like to study Medicine and Surgery, maybe at UNSW, but I got turned off by an old doctor who stitched up my nose. I can't remember exactly what he said, it was something funny, along the lines of 'Why on earth would you want to be a doctor?' Then I realised there are so many bad things that come with being a doctor - annoying patients, huge responsibility, guilt, the fact that there is often no chance to follow up your work and see how a patient you performed surgery on is going and so on.

I did a bit of research and found out about occupational therapy. There seems to be more room to make a meaningful, on going contribution to patients' lives in this profession than in Medicine. So, at the moment, I am aiming to study occupational therapy at USYD.

Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy), USYD. ATAR required: 86.45

Not sure which type of engineering...

- Aeronautical
- Flexible First Year

If I get the UNSW Co-op scholarship, then I'll do mechanical I guess (others not included).

B Science (Molecular biology and Genetics) at USYD
B Commerce (liberal studies) - major in economics and mathematics.
B Law/ B Economics at USYD
etc, etc
Oh! and I want to study philosophy somewhere down the track and pick up French again (haven't touched it since year 10).

ATAR realistic aim: 98+
Really really want to get in the 99s actually,
Disappointed if < 94ish

or, seeing as everyone in my area goes to UOW and i get 3 extra points automatically, 78 to do medical science at wollongong
