on the topic of shirts...i asked one of our cash office girls about ordering new ones for summer.
she told me to hold off for a month or so because she heard we'd be getting newer ones with stripes/different material.
does anyone know about these 'new shirts'?

I kinda doubt that there is, why would they update the old shirt with the new logo if they were planning to introduce an entirely new shirt...

And I've spent all morning altering my work uniform... size 16 shirt now -> size 10-12
size 16 pants now -> size 11ish and all fitted etc.

I WILL LOOK NORMAL AT WORK INSTEAD OF HAVING HUGELY BAGGY CLOTHES OMG. Lol.

Why do they insist on releasing buggy upgrades? Pretty sure there is something else I read that's a glitch that will be "fixed in the next store release"? UM, why bother releasing this dodgy crap?

(this is a short sleeve shirt)
Put it on (buttoned up) INSIDE OUT. Pull out the sides (including under the arms on the sleeves) and put in pins for where you want the edge of the shirt to be.
Mine looked like the image below.

Then, with a sewing machine, follow the line of pins with a straight stitch. Be neat about it! (while the shirt is still inside out!!!)
Then, cut off any excess material leaving about half a centimetre left overhanging.
Then do a zigzag stitch along the edge of the hanging material.
Done and done.

No, jgibson is correct.
It's a very pale green with (I think) faint pink stripes.... Entirely different. Sigh.
That said, they're allowing us to wear both lots of shirts for a while. Apparently.

thanks heaps. might try that out.

although i do need a new shirt, all three of mine have holes in them. But no matter what size I buy, its still not going to fit. I need like Size 8 shoulders, 16 bust and 12 everywhere else.
I fail majorly at being proportionate.

Used to be... 7.30am - Midnight, Monday - Friday
7.30 am - 10pm Saturday
8am - 9pm Sunday

NOW It is open 7.30 am - Midnight every day

The NEW new ones will be $25 each.
And pretty sure the guys ones aren't pink striped, that was the women's one I was talking about.

No police when I did it. :S Maybe we aren't important.

A couple of weeks ago I had unloaded all the security items from the safe, and put them on top of the other safe like normal ready for the supervisor to pick up. She comes in, chucks it all in the trolley, even made a comment about the alarms. Anyway CMS rings about a minutes later saying the alarm is being tripped. I said the 2IC was careless, put them on hold, 2IC said she was useless, no police.

That's not good.
The duty manager rang up to call the police off but they told him they have to come in case someone has a gun to his head. Appaz the alarm is a direct line to the cop shop.

Two cars pulled up right outside the doors.
All the customers were like 'wtf?'
