2010 rankings needed for 99+ atar? (1 Viewer)

i go to girraween high school which is ranked 20 something and i would like to get a general idea of the ranks i wud need next year, in order for me to attain an ATAR of 99+

my subjects for 2010 are chem phys bio 4U maths and advanced english
~139 ppl do advanced english
~50-55 ppl take physics
~100 ppl take chemistry
~50-55 take bio
~50 take ext 2 maths
~100 take ext 1 maths

Eng: top ~30
Phys: top ~10
Chem: top ~15
Bio: top ~5
Ext1: top ~20
Ext2: top ~20

wat if i get all those ranks but not top 5 in bio? wud it matter considering they only count ur best 10 units?

dude i go to your school. Watch my yr 12 get rank 15 or better (in the state) just wait

if your school can maintain that rank, then you wont even need top 10's and 20's in all subs

O wait, heres some help:

English: top 25
Physics: top 10
4u maths: top 20
3u maths: top 40

as for chem, with 100 people doing it (which is HUGE) i think you only need about 20-30 rank.

lol yea this years yr 12 are apparently really smart. hope u guyz do well and get girra top 15 =D nd yea...sooo many ppl doing chem. idc about bio...but physics is gonna be a pain..cuz i rekon we only have one good physics teacher....dr masens.

I was actually thinking that you need top 10 in Biology to get ATAR 99+ but then again Biology wouldn't count towards your ATAR if it is your worst subject.
