Are we allowed 2 use The Simple Gift as a related text? cause every1 is sayin different stuff on whether we can use it or not so ive got no clue :S

I was told by my teacher if the foundations of your argument to an essay question is asking and The Simple Gift is willing, it is fine.

So no incest. Using the text in other modules is fine. Ie Simple Gift in "Into the World" question (if it is a society/subconcious integration/personal strength etc.)

But be careful with related texts and try to have them argue or enforce a different perception, and not just overlap. Eg The story of Tom Brennan is also a society/community based question that deals with strength of character/family support, so the chances of me using Simple Gift as a related text is slim.
