Hey, I was wondering if someone could tell me if an ATAR of 80.00 was still possible? Here are my ranks:

General Maths: 2/87 (1/87 in the trial exam)
Advanced English: 4/67
Business Studies: 5/41
Economics: 7/19
Studies of Religion 1: 13/77
Accounting: We never find out our ranks. It's a category B subject though and someone once told me that that meant rank doesn't really affect your mark. Anyway I think my final mark for it (including the HSC exam) was 90+ (not being cocky or anything, it was a really easy subject.

School Rank: 290th in 2008
(on the whole it was a really dumb year though, the dux was 95 point something and it has usually been 98-99 in previous years)

I know it's hard to estimate an ATAR with only 9 units available for ranks, but it would still be appreciated. My standards have fallen so much this year. I wanted to get 91.80 (UTS) at the beginning of Year 12, then at trials around 84.60 (macquarie) and now I just want to get over 75.

NB: I'm really, really terrible at exams (bar general maths) and never finish them. Also, I've hardly studied for the HSC exams because I was so dependant on my decent ranks so I already know I'm going to fuck them up majorly. I got raped today during the Business Studies HSC.

if you were to give an ATAR on those 9 units, I'd guess mid 80s

From your position in your cohort in your subject, it seems you'd easily be able to get 80.
