Share your thoughts on what you would do if they asked specific poems rather than asking you to plan your response around TWO or THREE poems.

e.g. in W.B. Yeats Poetry:
An Irish Airman Foresees His Death + Easter 1916
The Wild Swans at Coole + Leda and the Swan
When You Are Old + Among School Children

if this happens tomorrow im so gonna get 0 if the poems dont match my prepared ones...

if they ask anything about among schoolchildren, i will die.

as for the others, i have a decent grasp on each one. it's the only module i feel confident with. i wrote 1.5 pages in my trial and still got 12 marks. yay, haha.

I'm also fretting about my poetry, in Mod C. If they provide any specifics, like which poems we have to do or a maximum of 1 ad mat, I will be in trouble. How did you go yesterday?

I fucking hate that poem to death.
They're not stingy enough to ask for 2 or three specific poems, I'd say probably just one, and it'd be Easter most likely

I only know about Easter 1916, Irish Airman and Wild Swans cos they seem ok. School kiddies is silly, When you are old is really really silly and Second coming is something to do with religion so screw that. If there is another i dont even know the name...

EDIT: Ah leda, that crazy swan rapin her crap, omg i dont think i even need to state the sillyness of that.

I'm pretty set for all the poems except.. irish airman.. it just seems to be the least significant one out of all of them... nor do i see any strong themes in the poem

he's talking about how life is pointless, he has a stoic, accepting tone, which creates a sense of helplessness in the reader. themes of balance, referring to the gyres he's obsessed with, every action has a reaction, that kind of thing.
