I have noticed when i turn up for my exams that many fellow students have a redbull in the their hand, or have just finished a can off. Is this a good strategy? or will you just have a high in the exam, followed by the low?

(or any other sort of energy drink)

I've never been able to finish a can of any energy drink before. They don't taste too good, and I'd rather have a good night's sleep than rely on a can of Redbull the next morning lol. I've seen a few students drinking them before exams, claiming to make up for a sleepless night. Not sure if it actually works though. Probably won't make much of a difference either way.

i find its good for subjects where u have to remember a lot ie like english, histories. otherwise it screws around with ur logic

personally, i prefer a triple espresso shot ^^ before the exam, i go down to the local gloria jeans and order my usual ;D energy drinks taste like crap, dunno how u can stand them >< V's the only bearable one

Never had them in my life - I don't think I'd react well to that kind of stuff... one home-brand panadol knocks me out in five minutes so I figure one sip of Red Bull would have me jumping off the walls :S not what I want during the exams even with separate supervision :)

I take jelly babies into the exams with me though :)

Energy drinks are so bad for you too many of them make your teeth soft.

Also you will crash half way though the exam and will be more tired. I recommend having a good nights sleep prior to the exam, and if you need a bit of a pick me up drink tea it releases the caffine slowly so you do not have that massive crash

I don't drink Red Bull before exams because I do not believe in the lies they present on the labeling as well as other fabricated benefits.
Don't drink this caffeinated garbage.

i love the taste of redbull. i dont really drink it for the boost of energy, only for the taste once in a while. (the boost is only a bonus)
