iRuler, stop arguing with me, kk.

In your case, you don't hve control over anything, okay?

Lol, you can control you're success/failure. If you fail, it's because of yourself. If you are successful, it's because of your hardwork, etc. Get it right.
False.

Those are the 7 things, I win you lose.

No, you can control your success/failure.

Get it right.

I win.

This conversation is over. Right here.
No you can not.

People start businesses well prepared, yet they still fail, and when someone does something which is stupid, they may still become successful.

That is not controling it.

People sometimes spend all their lives to do something yet they fail, why? because they cant control it.

FACT.

That's called LUCK.

You study all year for the HSC and you get a good ATAR - Success.
You bludge all year and don't study and if you get a crap ATAR - you fail.

You can't control your success. For hsc, you study really hard, sure, and get a good atar. but some people study the same and get a lower atar. it depends on other people. for your internal mark, the teachers are the ones who mark the exams and assignments, speeches, etc. that will count towards half your hsc. now a lot of teachers are partial and might give extra marks to students they 'prefer' because of some reason, be it race, etc. or deliberately lower another students marks as the teacher does not like the student. same goes for in the workplace: 2 employees. one works twice as hard as the other but the one who works much less gets the promotion as he/she is in 'favour' with the employer.

lol just go and watch the starting of Hot Fuzz.

and remember.. its not how hard you study, it's how 'smart' you study.. i studied the absolute minimum for some of my subjects and yet my worst rank was 6th

i'm not sure if this thread is still on topic, but anyway...

i'll still see my friends, so i'm definitely gonna miss my teachers (especially a particular few) a lot. that's pretty much the main thing.
