Is there such thing for medicare? That you can claim $4000 from dental in medicare, I don't think braces count, but other dental type surgeries, how?

Huh wishful thinking!! Medicare dont cover anythng dental as far as im aware coz they didnt pay anything to me when i had my wisdom teeth out as they consider it dental not medical. They only paid for the anaesthetist and MBF paid a tiny bit.
The only way you can get free dental is if you go through the public system and then you will wait ages!!

I think having your wisdom teeth taken out via surgery (if it's impacted) wouldnt that be considered as surgery?

Off the top of my head (when I worked as a dental nurse), wisdom teeth were not covered. Medicare doesn't cover any dental, and you can either elect to go in as a public patient and wait 2 years or go in as private and pay the ~$1800 gap.

there IS indeed a Medicare Dental plan covering up to over 4000 dollars worth of Dental work over 2 years. I have just signed onto it. I have Private Messaged you the Details. Dont be put of by what the wording of the medicare site. Its not that hard to get access to. Impacted, infected Wisdom teeth would quallify. Feel free to contact me if you have anymore Q's. I saw your post and intsantly thought *OUCH! You poor Gal!* Bung, Infected wisdom teeth have to on the bad end of dental nasties.

Yes, there is one kind of medicare fund $4250 for two calendar years.
Some of our patients turn up with these form.
All of the patients have one or more medical conditions. And maybe it also required the receivers reach a certain age.
They got medicare form from their GP. And the GP approved they're eligible for it.
But I heard it will be ceased on the end of this year. And all of the remaining money which they haven't spend will be expired.
