How hard is Actuarial Studies (1 Viewer)

Thanks to actuarial studies, I've much more context in selecting the type and provider of various insurance and annuity stream products.

Lecturer said today, about the part III exams:

if a question is asking you about the probability of something and you answer;
P = -0.xxxxx then that negative sign is enough to fail you for the whole exam.

seems obvious not to have a negative sign, but to fail a whole course with a simple negative sign!?!?! I know of no other course that can fail you so easily.

nah they should be failed i think, they should realise that probability can only be between 0 and 1
