With the new syllabus being implemented I cannot stress how significant it is to utilise your schools and teachers. Due to the lack of resources properly equipped for the new syllabus. If you are looking for questions, I'd request your teachers to design them based off the new syllabus.
Waiting until Trial time is very inconvenient! Both for the revised Dot Point Publication, and for the release of other Trial Examinations.
is it worth getting in that case?
The Dot Point book is more for a revision technique to the syllabus. Not greatly helpful if you're still learning content / information. Basically it just provides a tonne of questions based around the syllabus, so it examines your knowledge. I'd be using the Dot Point Book later on in the year, primarily for revision (to get used to articulating responses, organising ideas, etc). I'd also probably start using it just prior to trials, in conjunction the HSC / Independent / Catholic Trial Examination Papers and Past HSC Papers (but difficult for us, seeing the implementation of the new syllabus).
Good luck all.
