What are your current question / focus areas?

Perhaps some may overlap and can be combined for the investigation.

Also we might be able to help you chose one, based on investigative strength, source availability, direct-ability, etc.

But it seems you're having a similar issue to me. TOO many awesome topic areas / possibilities for the Major work = impossible to choose. D:

I agree! Theres just too many topic areas to choose from!

My main focus area is American bureaucracy and the Iran-Contra affiar. I need to someone integrate them into an orginal and interesting question.
I was thinking about doing something like, "Evaluate the extent to which American interventionism has supported dictatorial regimes" but I've done research on it
and it really doesnt interest me too much.

i dont know what to do :/

If it doesn't interest you, I would advise trying to come up with something else. The whole project is going to be a massive pain in the ass if you aren't interested in what you are writing.

Find a focus that you love, and go from there. As you research more you should find that you develop interest in a specific point, which you can then develop a specific question from. It took me ages to work out a specific question -and a lot of research....but don't worry too much about this, because once you do formulate a question you should find that a lot of the research has already been done, you just need to refine the information.

This is what I found anyway. As an example, my broad focus area was Tudor England, which I eventually narrowed down to a focus on Lady Jane Grey, and then developed a specific question regarding differing perspectives on her personality over time.

Basically, just follow what interests you, and it will eventually lead to a question. (Wow, that sounds corny =P)

As ArtemisOrthia says, source availability etc. should also play a part in your selection.

I hope this is sort of helpful (and makes some sense). Good luck....and have fun! The project really should be awesome to do.
