if we admitted pygmies are probably different enough to call a subspecies of homo sapiens while still asserting they should be treated morally equally with human rights and what not

no. modern human is made of our at least 3 subspecies that have interbred.

i dont see any moral implications with pure subspecies because the behave have function like the rest of us.

The problems causes by racial or ethnic disputes are either excuses for wars based on other grounds such as the interests of very affluent private individuals such as businessmen,government officials or Army officers. or misunderstandings or ignorance that have happened coincidentally or on-purpose over time. I think racism and differential treatment on people based on their ethnicity or race is just someone lying to themselves, or being raised in an environment where they are supposed to, genetically there is almost nothing - or we wouldn't be able to easily interbreed. It is a social construct in a large sense.

Too true. Races are general and inaccurate way of distinguishing a large group of people's genetic attributes. Ethnicities come from specific regions and countries which actually have physical characteristics similar to each-other, such as the facial features, skin-color, height etc.
