I suppose, when you put it that way. But you'd have to have reasonable suspicion that you were gonna get charged. What if they approached just to caution you and you went apeshit on that? And yes, how would anyone prove that? Well that buys into the whole what's excessive use of force, and what's considered reasonable for the situation.
