Re: Need healthy Vegetarian Diet

There's no need to go vegetarian for no reason, you can be perfectly healthy eating meat, but it sounds like you don't want to eat 'heavy' meat.
Start eating white fish and chicken breast, maybe some lean red meat and a serving of fatty fish once per week.
If you're going vego, eat tofu, grains, beans, salads, avocado for healthy fats, red capsicum is really good too (it has a lot more vitamins and minerals than green, plus it's high in lycopene) also, eggs! Because you're not eating meat, you won't get any "complete" protein (has all 9 essential amino acids) unless you eat animal products such as milk, cheese and eggs (omlettes are great for dinner- you can put whatever veges you want in them)

yeah...

:)

Thanks kfn, I'm only doing it for a week, and what I usually eat is grilled chicken thigh/breast, fish, prawns (fatty I think), and eggs alot, just giving myself a change, had too much in the past few months.

And yes, I do have milk, cheese, etc...

For lunch I had mix veges with brown rice, tasted nice after adding soy sauce and some chilli flakes :)

Lets see how I go, thanks again :)
