Assuming all else is consistent, more likely than not Harvard because the university/college is one thing, but even getting into the college in the first place over there is another which says a lot about the applicant. This is based on my limited knowledge of American tertiary studies but my understanding is it's more than just a UAI/ATAR requirement- it requires a full blown application akin to what we'd do for a scholarship application.

Then again, depending on the focus of the company - a degree done in Australia may be more beneficial for them, e.g. if they are focused in operations within the Australian market...

There are also other variables; academic results, work experiences, networks etc. A candidate's suitability for a job is not summarised through the institution where they got their degree.

with all else equal, havard has the upperhand, because it would make u stand out from the other 40 people who come from unsw, plus havard is more prestigious imo

Hahaha this has to be a joke - I've never seen Harvard mentioned in the same sentence as UNSW, except in UNSW marketing brochures. Even then the marketing dept might puke after re-reading what they wrote.
