My school hasn't given us ear 12 textbooks until 3 term next year (because it is cheap)

i can understand why it will take awhile but it is annoying since I won't get a school issued textbook until December/January.

for advanced, probably the guides which assist in analysing your texts. only get them if you really need them as they are pretty expensive

Probably have 20 at the moment, and it's increasing.

I only own 3 though, my teachers keep giving me them and I don't have the heart to say no! But for you current Year 12's, try and scab as many books from the school as you can and then buy them - works great.
