Second. We didn't learn it in class, nor did i see that in my text book.I didn't think red shift was in the syllabus.. maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember learning about it in class. I think that's in the yr11 syllabus.
Is expanding universe theory same as Big Bang?red shift was evidence for the expanding universe theory
Yep. I think a lot of schools would be learning extra content rather than just the BOS stuff (my school does a a bit extra but not much) and so you guys are probs just already doing some yr11 work.Second. We didn't learn it in class, nor did i see that in my text book.
Salt water - think about erosion near the sea.Hey, can anyone tell me if iron nails rust faster in water or salt water?
The big bang theory is that the universe started as a singularity etc. the expanding universe theory is that the universe is still expanding at an increased rate.Is expanding universe theory same as Big Bang?
How is erosion related to rusting? Erosion needs no oxygen...Salt water - think about erosion near the sea.
I think he meant corrosion. How is erosion related to rusting? Erosion needs no oxygen...
I think the the big bang is different as it was the theory saying the universe began from a singularity while the expanding universe theory suggests that galaxies will continue to move apart and there was only one big bang. (The other theory was pulsating/oscillating universe theory)Is expanding universe theory same as Big Bang?
You can't just say red shift, It asked for "Which theory is being represented by the balloon expanding?" red shift isn't a theory, it was Galaxies and the Inflationary model of the big bang theoryBalloon and dots one:
Galaxies
Red Shift
Yes, SHE did. I realised my mistake after sending the message.I think he meant corrosion.
