A friend of mine wrote this as his answer. He immediately went to me and asked me this question. I said to him it should be the same. So, just to clarify if I'm correct :)

(153/3)* where * = degrees

Isn't (153/3)* the same as 51* ?

BODMAS, where B is for brackets and takes precedence over all other operations.

I do not see where BODMAS comes into play, seeing as there is only one operator in the calculation.

Well you evaluate inside the parentheses first...
If there was more than 1 operator ie:



Then sure, we would use BODMAS.

However, the only operator is a simple division (or multiplication):



Whether I put a bracket there or not ie:



Makes no difference whatsoever.

What I meant was does:

(153/3)° = 51° (meaning are they the same thing?)
