Ive got 36/40 (3rd)

but the top mark was 40/40, second 39/40.

and this one worth 20% towards our internal...

I am worried about my ranking... Am I really behind? Do you think I can catch up (ie. 1st)?

My teacher knows that I made silly mistakes (It was a pretty easy test) and said "You couldfo got 40".

We have 30% and 50% exams left now.

Anybody??? I am so worried and cannot go to bed ((((

But I mean do you think 3~4 mark in 20% assessment is a very big gap?

No. 4/40 marks is 10%. 10% of 20% is 2%. You are 2% behind the leader. There is nothing in that.

Now I'm questioning whether you actually do 4U or not.

2% in the grand scheme of things is nothing; in fact, if you come third by 2% by HSC time, and your cohort is decently good, you will most likely get the same assessment mark as rank 1 and 2 and probably 4.

Thank you. Yeah, you guys are right. 2% in 20% is really nothing. Now I understand. We still have 30% and 50% tests left. I was a real worried because ppl said "your mark is not important but your rank" - So... and this teacher knows me as I came 1st in Year 11 Ext 1 last year and Ext 1 this year but 3rd i ext 2 ((...... Mark vs Rank???????????
