Extension 1 Maths good textbooks (2 Viewers)

Does anyone know, either from experience or peers, what textbook is really good for mathematics extension 1 when studying for exams?

I currently use Maths in Focus however I have noticed that the exercises and questions are VERY basic compared to the exam questions.

Umm... Fitzpatrick, Cambridge. Those two should do you.

There's Terry Lee Fundamentals of Mathematics, which I found to be really good too.

I havent tried Fitzpatrick but from what Ive heard it is really. What about Excel? do you'se reckon it is good.

Excel? Avoid.

Just because there's so much better material out there.

Excel is just like or a bit above mif in terms of difficulty. Cambridge, Fitzpatrick and terry lee are best.

Cambridge has harder questions than the HSC Exam.

Also, Coroneos is one of the older textbooks, but it is very detailed.

The font takes time to get used to though, never liked it IMO

in all honesty, a decent textbook (cambridge, fitz etc) plus past papers is more than enough

2. Jones and Couchman
3. Fitzpatrick
4. Cambridge

I haven't used Coroneos' textbook so I can't rate it.
IMO Jones and Couchman + Cambridge + past papers would be sufficient to prepare to exams

Thanks guys I use the year 11 maths in focus textbook (the bigger green one with a slightly higher difficulty) then when im studying for exams i use the HSC Success 1 books and also any past exams I can find in the resource section
