for some collision questions u have to equate the x components or y components for eg, xA = xB to show something or prove something

what do i write in brackets when i use it?

Just say:

For the particles to collide, let x_A = x_B.

ok im confused on this question:

gonna make it short..

bird flies horizontally with S m/s with altitude of H metres, passes a hunter below at (0,0) with a rifle. simultaneously the hunter shoots a bullet up at an angle at an angle theta from the horizontal with a velocity of Vm/s. assume gravity is gm/s^2

heres the question

explain why x = St describes the distance the goose has flown after t seconds. yuoo may assume the equations of the motion that x=vtcostheta and y= blah blah decribes thehorizontal and vertical distance of the hunter after t seconds. assume the bullet hits the goose

1. Displacement = Velocity x Time, so since x = Displacement and S = velocity, then x = St

Unless I am blind, that is the only question I see.
