How long should I spend on the last 5 marker question in Comprehension? (Out of the 40 mins I have)

And how do I get full marks for this question?

Thanks :)

Ideally, it should be between 1-2 pages and should loosely follow the format of an essay since you are required to compare/talk about more than one text. Set it out as you normally would for an essay but obviously trim it down (e.g. one example for one text should be enough for a paragraph).

Isn't this a bit too little? I've always used 2-3 examples depending on whether it's a 4 or 5/6 marker

Remember it's not a 20 mark essay. Generally for 5 markers, I've always advocated the following format:

Text A - example/explanation
Text B - example/explanation
Repeat once

Your answer will end up with around 4 quotes/techniques and with sufficient explanations for each, you will easily hit 2 pages worth, and that is more than enough for a 5 marker. Don't go overboard when you don't need to.

You pretty much write it like a mini essay. For my trials, I wrote 1.5 pages and got the full marks.1 valid point with an example= 1 mark.
