Hi, need help, forgot how to solve...
2(√3/4)/(1/√2)

Please provide steps and any tips

thanks (sqr root sign is alt and 251 on num pad)

Evaluate*

$2(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4})(\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}})$

$=\frac{2\sqrt{3}}{4\sqrt{2}}$

$=\frac{2\sqrt{3}}{4\sqrt{2}}*\frac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}$

$=\frac{2\sqrt{3}*\sqrt{2}}{8}$

$=\frac{\sqrt{3}*\sqrt{2}}{4}$

$=\frac{\sqrt{6}}{4}$

Mate, you didn't post that question...

Your second bracket should be, $\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}$

$=\frac{2\sqrt{3}}{2}*(\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}})$

$=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{\sqrt{2}}$

$=\frac{\sqrt{6}}{2}$

He tried to, but forgot that sin60 = root(3)/2. He instead had sin60 = root(3)/4.
