Currently I have another course for my first preference in the main round offers. What is the demand for UNSW Commerce? Would I receive an offer in the 2nd round (maybe a combined course) with an ATAR of 96.05 and 5 bonus?

The cutoff went to 99.95 last year in late rounds so I'm not sure! But the demand is high.

UNSW Commerce spots are usually filled up by 1st round.

99.95 with or without bonus? If the demand is that high, what about UNSW MedSci or USyd Commerce?

Thanks for replying.

I think when UAC enters the cut off as 99.95 it probably means the spots are all filled up. UNSW Med Science demand isn't as great as UNSW Commerce. UNSW Commerce offers like 2000 spots and they all get accepted by like Round 1. Med Science has only about 300-500 people doing it. I forgot what the Cut off for Med Sci was in 2nd round.

Wait... usually the course you WANT to do is in your first pref? If you really cared about commerce at unsw, why is it second?

Anyway it's over now, what did you end up choosing?

When the spots are filled up or no offers made there will just be an asterisk. Cut offs are inclusive of bonus marks and in the later rounds there are often not many places left in some popular courses so the cut offs are pushed up to the maximum of 99.95.
