ATAR of 90+ [Question] (1 Viewer)

Assuming that I want to get an Atar of over 90, lets just say 90.. would I be needing all Band 6's all Band 5's or a majority of Band 6 and a couple of Band 5's or etc?

I really will appreciate the answers. I'm in year 11 this year and I don't really do that well at school so I really want to pick myself up this year. By the way, offtopic, any tips for getting the best ATAR I can get? Study methods etc?

Depends on the subs, but normally band 5s across are needed.

As everyone said it depends entirely on your subjects and i agree with LHS about band 5s across being a good aim for 90. But just keep in mind that even with strong scaling subjects just scraping a band 5 in each subject will likely put you just short of 90.

Try putting some marks into an atar calculator for your subjects so you can get a rough idea of what marks you might be looking at for each subject to achieve your atar aim.
