Holiday/absence approval? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have to be overseas for about 3 weeks near the end of Autumn semester. I was wondering if I had to apply to be away for this long or can I just notify my lecturers/teachers of my absence and for the work in advance, and then go overseas? I'd appreciate if someone here could let me know (if possible) of any procedures relating to long absences.

End of semester could be problematic - theres bound to be assesments around then and potentially finals. You'll have to let the subject coordinators know straight away and they will advise you on what needs to be done.

Yeah I'm a bit worried about it. Are the subject coordinators pretty much all my class teachers? lol sorry newbie.

Nah, for the average subject your subject coordinator is going to be the lecturer. For subjects which have multiple lecturers it's whoever is in charge of the subject which is probably one of the lecturers.
