Politics enshrines neo-conservative leadership. It is centred on the utilitarian leadership of the government as implemented for individuals, industry and working families. Thus in my first speech I want to champion the basic premise that I trust should manage the application of political information management and my motivation as a Member of the Australian Labor Party who has just entered this place. I wish to espouse the beliefs that shape my ALP management of policy considerations and the varied issues confronting my community which I am humbled to serve. I am deeply obliged Australian and I trust that, as a sovereign nation we deserve an Australian monarchy.

Margaret Thatcher once said there are no societies- only ‘individual men and women and there are families.’ I share that view of the empowerment of the individual but I trust us Australians are all united by a tri-partite fair go ethos between government, business and working people.

I trust in low taxes and an economic conservative government that doesn’t tear down the fair go and gives equality of opportunity to all Australians. I trust in the primacy of markets in prosperity generation and the organisation of the economy but I trust that government has a vital role to play in promoting environmental security, good foreign policy and social security for those in poverty through no fault of their own. As we enter the new decade, the nation is confronted with geo-economic uncertainty post the Global Financial Crisis and the Asian Financial Crisis. Notwithstanding that Australia has undergone a dramatic cultural change since the end of WW2; we as a nation have truly assimilated into the Asian Pacific region and rightly turned our backs on the White Australia policy.

Having said that we must do whatever it takes to keep our borders secure by having an orderly immigration system. Stop the boats we must. Stop the boat we will. We will decide who comes to this country and the circumstances under which they come. Furthermore there must be global cooperation when it comes to delivering safety and security to refugees fleeing persecution. Moreover there must be global leadership when it comes to tackling the strategic challenges of our time such as climate change, and global security. Australia has shown great leadership in our region such as by the Gillard government in promoting solutions- to complex issues such as economic instability and environmental protection.

Great policy is shaped by the ideals of working people who are independent and willing to take on duty. Conservative politics has an independent spirit and trust of centralised government. Eliminating obstacles to trade and creating new export markets for Australian producers and providing greater consumer choice is vital. Government should reverence its constitutional limits and give people the freedom to live their lives. I am troubled about Australia drifting right towards an anti welfare rights society where centralised government crowds out free enterprise. I am a strong opponent of compulsory unionism and support the reforms of the waterfront that ended the rorts, inefficiencies and archaic work practices. I support the Fair Work Act 2009 which has helped to deliver greater productivity, job creation and real wages growth for working families

I profoundly believe in the transformative power of spreading educational opportunities to those less fortunate. I believe every child regardless of the circumstances of their birth should have access to a great quality education. The fair go should be shinning forward providing hope, reward and opportunity for all.

You can't mention Thatcher because you're from the left. There is no evidence that Fair Work Act has made improvements in productivity. "Hope , Reward and Opportunity" is a liberal slogan. And finally comrade you can't make it into politics.

You're a funny character.

Weren't you the one who admitted a few weeks ago to abusing the pension system?
http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=303200

And you created a thread about the ALP's failures?
http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=302087

And half your arguments don't make sense.
You want an Australian Monarchy, but you want individuals to have equal right and opportunities. Fairly sure a monarchy elevates a select group above all others, and also doesn't fit with your other ideals...

And how can a dole bludger, the sort of person that people despise for wasting the tax they paid, talk about the working people?
Have you every worked a day in your life, or do you just aspire to ruin the already stupid world of politics in Australia.
Should you ever become a legit politician admitting to abusing the pension system and claiming to have a disability aren't going to help you.
Us "Working people" don't like people who take our hard earned money like that.

Also, if you support Labour, why is your pic of John Howard?...

I am not a dole bludger I am a dear friend of Julie Owens, the Member for Parramatta. I do voluntary work for the Australian Labor Party by campaigning online. In the 2010 federal election I campaigned in the seat of Parramatta and helped re-elect Julie Owens as the MP for Parramatta. I also campaign in Western Australia, South Australia and in the general Australian electorate via online. Regarding the pension system, I did nothing wrong, exploiting the loopholes is not illegal. High income earners exploit the taxation system and minimize tax. Similarly I like to maximize welfare payment to give me a fair dinkum chance of becoming a Member of Parliament. I want to give back to the greatest country in the world by entering parliament and advancing the welfare of Australians.

How is faking mental illness exploiting a loophole? Faking mental illness is downright disgusting. People like you are horrible.

God help Australia should you ever get into parliament.

In politics you have to get your hands dirty and politics is not for the faint hearted. Politics is for the Iron Men and Iron Women of Australia. I want to make it all the way to top job of Australian politics and become a Labor PM. I am doing Bachelor of Business (Business Law and HRM majors). I want to become the Minister for Workplace Relations and Minister for Education.

What does Representative Power mean on the bored of studies website? Does having a higher representative power mean that you have higher status or lower status?

As a young boy I dreamed of being a baseball

But tonight I say we must move forward, not backward

Upward, not forward

And always twirling

Twirling

Twirling towards freedom

Hayabusboston is an idiot. I am not a psychotic retard if I was one I would be in a psychiatric hospital. Okashi you should be ashamed of yourself. Andrew Robb, the Liberal Finance spokesperson has bipolar disorder does anyone from the Australian Labor party denigrate him based on his psychiatric condition. The answer is no. Why you ask because Labor believes in the fair go and we believe in a more socially inclusive society. Good guys win bad guys lose and as always the ALP prevails under the leadership of Julia Gillard.
