so I was wondering if you should have different related texts? like a poem, short story and an article or something? are you disadavantage if you use all poems or short stories?

Also does one marker mark all of your section 2 essays?

It is good to have two different text types, just to show a bit of variety.
No, essays are double marked, unless they are marked out of 10.
But I am sure many read over them anyway.
