Got a band 4 in English what are my chances now? (1 Viewer)

Okay so after analyzing my performance in the exam I really really think I failed. I had no idea how to do the Hamlet essay and wrote 10.5 pages of gibberish and I only wrote about 700 words for Frankenstein and didn't even finish. I couldn't finish my creative properly either.
I think at most I would get 73-75/105 if the BOS markers are feeling generous. Which is a band 3/4 mark.
Also my internal in English is pretty bad 5/27.

So what marks do I need to get for the rest of my subjects for a 85-90.
Economics 1/8
Chemistry 1/26
Biology 2/27
Maths Adv 2nd or 3rd out of 20 not sure.

My school is probably 190-200's not really sure.

They'd probably be feeling too generous if you think you did that bad. That kind of mark is like a mid band 5.

Now @OP:

73-75 in Adv. English would probably scale to a mid to high Band 5...
You're first in Chemistry...so you've got every chance to get a Band 6...
Economics also scales well...so that's good...
Maths also scales alright...so try your best in it and try getting a high band 5 or 6...

Conclusion: you can still get an atar 85-90....(if that's what you want)

Based on rank of 5/27, you assessment mark will prob be 86ish.. so if you external was 75 then you should get HSC mark of 81 or so. Based on that your scaled mark will be about 34 per unit (in this case 68 give 2 units)

To get 90 ATAR you need an average scaled mark of 37 per unit. So to be honest, you prob haven't cost yourself that much, esp given your ranks in other subjects.

I get an estimate of 92 given your ranks in other subjects.
