I've been assessed as ineligible, despite being affected from a severe illness for 2 years (11 and 12) and with my doctor assessing my case as extreme. All my teachers told me to apply as they saw how it prevented me from attending school for large chunks throughout the years. Ive been away like 50-60 days in year 12. So i just don't understand how i was assessed as ineligible. What do you guys think? Possible to appeal?
Definitely appeal. Your case seems more severe than mine. Mine was ticked as "considerable" and I missed out 100 or so days of school (both full days and partial, but mostly partial) in year 11 and 12. Good luck and I hope it all works out.

Similar thing happened to my brother, he appealed twice and they still rejected him. He was in hospital for 2 months just before his HSC which affected his trials too. For some reason, these universities don't offer any sympathy for sick people. Nonetheless he still ended up with a pretty high UAI, that's probably why. It's pretty fucked up. Try appealing.

I think the reason your brother's eas wasn't accepted was that his illness didn't span the required 6 months. (without the required 6 months of illness affecting your studies it will not be accepted). Where as mine was 2 years, with letters from specialists, g.ps . My Principal, all my teachers personally came up to me and told me i must apply. I got a stack of medical certificates ( i sent to them) and also sent my attendance record.... yet not accepted? And they didn't even tell me why. Seriously thats fkd up. I sent them an email 6 hours ago yet no reply.

Plus its irrelevant whether you recieve a high atar or not. Friend last year got 98.75 and was awarded eas on top of that and got accepted into dent.

Mine was eligible. If it says 'no' in certain unis does that just mean I can only use EAS in the unis that say 'yes'? Just want to make sure I actually got an EAS

Yeah if some unis say no then EAS doesn't apply for them but you still have EAS for those who said yes.

Is there any way I can find out how many points I have received?
