Hi, I have a Studies of Religion II exam on the 17th of February - it consists of 3 short answer questions, and 2 essays

Now I've prepared the short answer question and one essay, because I know the question to them
However, the second essay will be given to us on the day - but all we know is that it could be either Paul of Tarsus, Bioethics, and Baptism

I'm worried that I'm starting late, I haven't made notes or essays for the second essay. To top it off, I haven't started studying at all!
Help, am I starting late with this?

First, getting on BoS and "procrastinating" will not help with your situation. It will make it worse because you are effectively overhyping the situation and in a stressed mindset. Stressed mindset = lower capacity to perform well because your brain is too consumed by stress.

Second, write a list of tasks you NEED to complete in preparation for your exam. For example, write notes, etc. break the tasks down into doable portions and allocate them to days leading up to your test. I.e.:

- tomorrow: half notes done for topic x
- day after: other half notes done for topic x

Etc.

Make sure you finish them or make a conscious effort to. Stop worrying about if you are starting late, because that only exacerbates your procrastination and is detrimental to your performance. Use the time you have now very wisely and you should be sufficiently ready.

To summarise, stop complaining and get off BoS and do your work.
