Letting you know now. TSFX lectures are absolutely useless, bar MX2. Maybe MX1 as well.

bongos; I went to the legal lectures ans they were useless (and ALL the other ones I went to). The first 10 or so minutes were okay but then the ret of the time they were saying how good they were and you should pay them money

Wtf serious?? Definitely go to the free lectures on general study or whatever. It's the only really good one if you pay attention.

yes srs. It was more of a marketing tool they used. I went to legal, physics and some other ones with friends and we all had the same opinion. We didn't learn "anything" in the sense that there was one guy that gave a quick talk on space and then ~10 minutes in some lady took over to talk about prices for the term and how successful their students were

I went to business and MX1 ones in the January holidays last year, they were alright not too much marketing, however in their free essay writing course and study skills courses there was a heap of marketing hence those were fairly useless.

no it was the free one. and they they tried to convince student/parents that this was a worthwhile investment

I went for one and essentially paid a couple of hundred for them to give me past hsc questions for me to do.

I'm not exactly paying for it. I got a 3500 scholarship and I have leftovers and I need to use it on school.
Any lectures places good?

Maybe a tutor or buy some books?

Oh damn, I was really thinking about going to the HSC in the Holidays lectures during the September holidays as I have absolutely no time during the July ones. For history apparently Bruce Denner is doing them and he's a really good lecturer. Not willing to waste hundreds on lectures that are of no use though if I'm unsure.
