For commerce I'd major in marketing

you're asking the wrong questions. getting a different degree doesn't mean you will get a job "easier" than someone else (in general). It is more about the experience and all that

Both degrees are similar but I would choose Commerce majoring in marketing as it gives you more options e.g finance, accounting in the event you change your mind over the 3 years. Also HR recruiters are more familiar with that degree. Lastly the main determinant of what will get you a job easier is high marks and work experience/extra curricular. Don't worry too much about the degree title as they are very similar
