my friend said she wanted to do biomedical engineering at one uni and wanted to transfer to med is that possible at all and if so what are the options she has to achieve that and yes shes done the umat as well

It's usually smart to take a gap year if you've got a 99+ atar and resit umat, but if u fuck up umat, you've basically wasted a year where as if you were at uni, you would've finished 1st year and hence 1 year closer to finishing your degree and doing post-grad med.
