Yeh it should be fine, because tutorials cover content taught in the week prior. Hence, at UNSW for example, lectures are held on weeks 1 - 12 and thus tutorials are held on weeks 2 - 13.

They put tutorials and lectures of the same subject close together since it means students don't have to be stuck on campus that much. Well that's my theory
