Have you made any progress so far? Please help!
What is the derivative of y = 2x^3 + 6x -2 ?
if you've found the derivative, what does it mean for a function to be increasing ? (in terms of its derivative y' )
and note for any n(positive or negative or 0), we always have n^2 >= 0
The reasoning should actually go the other way around, if you know what I meanThanks for your help! I found the derivative to be y' = 6x^2 + 6
and I know that y'>0 so 6x^2+6>0
I'm not sure where to go from there...
