To be honest, I'm a Fed fan and I'm still expecting Nadal to win it in 5 sets.

Also, even if Nadal is upset here and now - Federer isn't guaranteed to make it to the QFs or SFs.

I'm just stunned by his opponent's shot-making.

Also, I find that new players (I.e. kokkinakis) often have very fast serves but have terrible defense. Not sure if it's just me tho

Terrible fundamentals is the reason. However, once women have men style strokes, it will be so much faster and less one sided for the muscle ladies.

The unpredictability of the WTA is sometimes exciting!

The ATP was very predictable prior to 2014.

Yeah, Kokkinakis and Kyrgios have the ''Big Serve, Big FH'' combo.

Federer has a well-placed serve (not the biggest) and in his younger days + post-2014, he had/has a very all-court game. His FH is definitely a weapon though.

Nadal's serve isn't ''big'' at all. He has an effective ''spinny'' serve that sets up his FH.
