$If $\log2=x$ and $\log3=y$ then: \\ $\log12=\log4+\log3=2\log2+\log3=2x+y$

Just want to make sure of something, can the answer also be 2y + x?

$2y+ x = 2log3 + log 2 = log3^2+log 2 = log 9 + log 2 = log18$

Therefore that's incorrect
