Help visualising volumes (1 Viewer)

Hey, so recently I have started the volumes topic and was wondering if there were any software applications out there to visualise a volume through slices/shells,etc. Really have trouble imagining the volumes so a software would greatly help

I don't know of any particular software programs or the like but you could try some videos on YouTube/Khan Academy which utilise visual diagrams to explain how the volume of the curve rotated around axes is set out (for both slicing and shell methods).

I think it only works for revolving areas under a curve about the x-axis. Also, I don't think you can exactly choose the endpoints, but you can drag the two endpoints to roughly where you want them.
